On September 3, 2024, Yury Blagov, Director of the Center for CSR at GSOM SPbU, took part in the largest business event in the North-West region — the 10th Leningrad Forum "My Business — the Energy of Opportunities!"

The main organizers of the conference were the Administration of the Leningrad Region and the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Leningrad Region. The conference brought together more than 1,200 participants — representatives of small and medium-sized businesses, self-employed citizens, and those who are just planning to start their own business.

Yury Blagov acted as an invited participant in the Round Table "Social Responsibility of Business in the Leningrad Region: Problems and Prospects".

During the discussion, Yury Blagov emphasized that the issues of sustainable development and social responsibility are no less relevant for small and medium-sized businesses than for large companies. Moreover, the focus on participation in solving social and environmental problems creates new opportunities for these enterprises. Among them are integration into the value chain of large responsible companies focused on achieving ESG criteria, as well as the development of social entrepreneurship, which is supported and stimulated by the state at the federal and regional levels.
