On September 25, 2024, Yury Blagov, Director of the Center for CSR at GSOM SPbU, took part in the annual meeting of the Integrated Reporting Committee and the HSE School of Finance "Integrated Thinking Day 2024. Rethinking Sustainability" as an invited speaker. The annual meeting was traditionally devoted to the issues of integrated thinking in managing an organization and creating value for all stakeholders.
In his speech, Yury Blagov considered the issues of the relationship between various capitals and stakeholder interests in the integrated reporting model, the problem of balancing stakeholder expectations, and also formulated approaches to understanding and implementing corporate sustainability in today's changing world.
According to Yury Blagov, the development of the integrated reporting model requires correlating the transformation of capitals of all types with the expectations of specific stakeholders. These expectations, in turn, should be perceived by the company on the basis of its reasonably formulated values, as well as the principles of CSR and sustainable development. It is the focus on the corresponding expectations that allows us to judge the company's strategy as responsible, aimed at achieving corporate sustainability.
