Professor Elena Rogova has been appointed the Acting Head of the Department of Finance and Accounting at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU). 

 

Elena Rogova received her PhD from St. Petersburg State University of Economics and Finance in 2005. From 2015 to 2021 she was the Dean of  St Petersburg School of Economics and Management, HSE – Saint Petersburg, in 2021-2022 she was the Head the Department of Management of HSE – Saint Petersburg. In 2019, she got the “Expert of the year” award in the area of business education. 

Professor Rogova has research interests in mergers and acquisitions, corporate finance, venture capital and intellectual capital. She is the author of textbooks in financial management, venture capital and project management 

  

Among the professor's research interests are the finance of innovative companies, venture business and entrepreneurial financing, mergers and acquisitions of companies and the valuation of intellectual capital.
