First Medical and Social Aid Management. Nuclear Medicine. Public Assets Management” and pointed out the importance of research on different aspects of PPP (preparation, implementation, assessment) in the field of public healthcare.
“We consider this research field crucial and of a highest priority for our Center, partly due to the fact that in case of Russia PPP has been developing from practice to theory, tackling problems arising during the period of project implementation primarily by trials and errors. In the process of structuring and implementation of PPP projects it is usually problematic to find a suitable form of PPP project; match sources of financing and return on investment with legislation; identify, evaluate and share risks, etc. All these problems require thorough analysis and effective response by means of research as well”, - notes Svetlana V. Maslova.
Currently, the team of the Center for PPP Studies works on several research projects:
S. Maslova hopes that development of new research projects in the Center for PPP Studies will improve the quality of PPP in Russia as a whole and in St. Petersburg in particular.
