On June 5, 2015 the regular session of the Research and Technical Council of the ANO “Directorate for the Development of Transport System of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region” was held in St. Petersburg. Head of the Center for PPP Studies GSOM SPbU Svetlana V. Maslova was invited to participate in this meeting.

The session of the Research and Technical Council was opened by Nikolay A. Asaul, Deputy Minister of Transport of Russia, who highlighted the necessity for further development of the transport system of St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region and major directions of this process and also stressed the distinct role of public-private partnership.

The results of the research project “Development of Framework for Integration of Existing and Prospective Automated Traffic Management Systems in St. Petersburg and Leningrad Region” were presented by Alexander I. Solodkiy, Professor, Head of the Department of Transport Systems, St. Petersburg State University of Architecture and Civil Engineering, presented the report. Further, these results were reviewed and approved by the Council.
