The lecture will be focused on the warehouse organization. Based on 3pl-operator practical cases about  approaches for calculation warehouse needs, metrics and performance indicators will be reviewed. Students will be offered several practical tasks. The second part will cover issues of information support of the warehouse: IT tools for warehouse management, their capabilities and limitations, approaches and selection criteria.

 

Speaker

 

Galiya Islamova, Head of WMS Cloud, KORUS Consulting Group has 15 years of experience in warehouse logistics. Her portfolio includes more than 30 completed projects for operations in warehouses, the opening of four distribution centers, including in Kazakhstan, three projects for transferring warehouse operations to a new warehouse management system. At present, she is developing a new direction of “WMS as a service” in the KORUS Consulting.
