This international research seminar is dedicated to the presentation and discussion of the project “Learning from the COVID-19 pandemic: strategic behavior of small- and medium-sized enterprises in the time of crisis” (project № 21-78-10024, https://rscf.ru/project/21-78-10024/). The project is aimed at identifying aspects of SMEs’ strategic behavior that can increase organizational resilience to crisis caused by the COVID-19 pandemic and improve business performance. In addition, the project considers macro-environmental factors, including social institutions, that influence business strategies in times of crisis.
