On May, 26, 16:00, a research seminar will take place. Human resource management (hereinafter referred to as HRM), as a branch of management knowledge, and as a separate management function, is undergoing global changes: the rapid development of technology, the COVID-19 epidemic, a change in the pace of life and a reorientation of the economy as a response to geopolitical changes involves both reorientation and transformation of the function. Many researchers talk about the reorientation and transformation of HRM practices: there is a transformation of basic HR processes, such as recruitment, performance management, corporate training and talent management and other practices that have been integrated with each other), to the HR strategy (the relationship of HRM practices with the business, its strategy or goals) and finally, to the so-called HRM "from the outside to the inside" [Ulrich].
This stage implies the need to respond flexibly to external influences: economic crisis, globalization, technological innovation and other changes; innovativeness and complexity of HRM practices; taking into account the strategy and objectives of the business in the actions of HRM specialists. In a turbulent environment, the HRM system can contribute to the so-called sustainability of the economic system (enterprise). A number of authors declare the increasing orientation of companies towards sustainable development, highlighting the so-called sustainable human resource management - the field of HRM, which underlies the successful implementation of corporate initiatives in the field of sustainable development, as well as such human resource management that prevents damage and promotes positive environmental results.
