The GSOM account XXXXXX@gsom.spbu.ru - for everyone What is it for? to login into all the GSOM SPbU digital systems (except Blackboard). Without a GSOM account, proper work at GSOM SPbU is impossible! If you don’t have a GSOM account, contact the GSOM SPbU IT Support. Provided to students upon enrollment by the GSOM SPbU IT Department.

Things to know when using GSOM SPbU computers

• Computers can be accessed with the SPbU username (stXXXXXX) and password

• All our computers run on Windows 10 and have access to the Internet

• For Office 365 apps, use the desktop version

• If you need specialized software from the list, the IT support team will advise you on where it can be accessed: in a computer room, a library or on a virtual computer

• No software can be installed on public access computers unassisted

TV in the halls of residence

Every room in the halls of residence is equipped with a smart TV. Access to basic broadcast TV channels is free of charge.
Available paid-for streaming services: Smotreshka, Ivi, Okko, Netflix and others.

TV panels in common areas

Content can be displayed on TV panels

• as part of an event

• as part of student projects, subject to an approval by the Youth Department

For your content to be displayed on TV panels, email us at support@gsom.spbu.ru In the Subject line type “IT support for an event” and specify the name of the event. For student projects, attach a file/copy of an email confirming that the content has been approved.

The IT Department provides:

• setup of equipment according to a scenario

• staff training on equipment

• technical support for events

Using corporate phones on the GSOM SPbU campuses you can call:
