At the solemn celebration of the 30th anniversary of the Kommersant newspaper in St. Petersburg, the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University was awarded the “For Long-Term Partnership” award.
One of the central events of Management Career Week 2023, the main career conference of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University, was the job fair for subsidiaries and organizations of PJSC Gazprom. Representatives of 12 subsidiaries and organizations of the largest energy company came to Mikhailovskaya Dacha to meet the students of GSOM SPbU.
Anna Sedova and Dmitry Yakovlev, students of the bachelor's program "International Management" of GSOM SPbU, took first place among international teams in the "2032 KNU Startup Idea Competition" of the Kyungbuk National University in Korea, where they are currently studying as exchange students. At the awards ceremony, the winners were congratulated by the President of Kyungpook National University, Mr. Hong Won Hwa. The bonus was 1 million won (about $770).
The Center for Research on Market Efficiency and Applied Finance at GSOM SPbU, together with experts from the Department of Reporting and Financial Data of VTB Bank, launched the School of Reporting and Financial Data.
The transformation of business education and options for solving the problem of personnel shortage in the financial market became the topic of an expert session within the framework of the Finopolis forum, organized by the Bank of Russia.
Gazprom Mezhregiongaz LLC and GSOM St. Petersburg State University held a training seminar “Legislative Innovations and Current Issues in the Field of Regulation of Labor Relations at Gas Supply and Gas Distribution Enterprises.” The event took place on October 11–12 on the campus of the Mikhailovskaya Dacha Business School.
On October 7, the GSOM SPbU hosted the grand opening of the mentor program Talent Up! This year a record number of mentors and mentees are participating: 48 allumni and 50 students of GSOM SPbU. They will have intense joint work ahead of them in the next six months.
On November 8, the Higher School of Management of St. Petersburg State University hosted an open lecture by Yulia Ludinova, Deputy Head of the Administration of the Governor of St. Petersburg — Head of the Project Management — Project Office of the Administration of the Governor of St. Petersburg.
The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University has once again confirmed its status as a leader in international business education. According to the results of the rating of the International expert agency EdUniversal, GSOM SPbU became the second strongest business school in Eastern Europe.
On November 2, the regular meeting of the MBA/EMBA business club took place on the GSOM SPbU campus on Volkhovsky Lane. 25 participants - alumni and students of MBA/EMBA programs, managers and owners of companies - discussed the current topic of people management: “Business unconscious. Games that employees play."
