The ranking of the analytical center "Expert" included 22 Russian business schools, five business schools from Ukraine, two from Kazakhstan and one from Belarus.

 

 

Out of the 30 participants in the ranking, 22 were included in the sample due to the international accreditations (AMBA, CEEMAN, EPAS). There are schools that have two accreditations, for example, GSOM SPbU – accredited by EQUIS and AMBA, three schools along with AMBA accreditation are accredited by CEEMAN.

 

According to the publication activity, which became the second basic criterion of the "Expert" ranking, the top three were HSE, GSOM SPbU, and business-school of Moscow State University.

 

For CIS countries, the ranking stresses out only one global business school - GSOM SPbU, "which has been systematically invested for many years in all areas of promotion on the global market: partnerships, accreditations, research activities" (Source>>.)

 

In addition, Graduate School of Management SPbU was the first in the ranking of business schools that have the largest number of partnerships with foreign universities that have "first level" accreditations.

 

 

 

Methodology of the research of the analytical center "Expert"   Business schools are private and public organizations and university-type structures that implement basic academic programs at the bachelor's and (or) master's level in management (management, HR, innovation) and/or executive education programs: MBA, EMBA, DBA.   The sources of information were the Scopus database; Official websites of accrediting organizations and official websites of business schools; Data provided by business schools. Criteria for inclusion in the ranking: the first level accreditations (AACSB, AMBA, EPAS, EQUIS) and/or CEEMAN and (or) the number of publications in the ABDC (Astral Business Deans Council) journals in 2014-2016 - no less than 40 in the database Scopus data.
