This summer RCB Bank organized the Summer School "World Finance and Banking System" for the third time. On the first day of School, students visited the Presidential Palace and met with Mrs. Andri Anastasiades. On August 3rd Sir Christopher Pissarides, Regius Professor of Economics at the London School of Economics and Political Science, Nobel Laureate in Economic Sciences gave a lecture “Artificial Intelligence, Robotics and Fintech: Opportunities or Disruption”. Also students took part in discussions, round tables and workshops.
"The organization was at a high level. There were several excursions, completely free evenings and a trip to the Presidential Palace. The lectures were also quite interesting, some things we already knew, but for example the specifics of the EU and Cyprus turned out to be new. We became friends with a lot of people and on our last day we didn’t want to leave and were ready to stay there for at least a week more," said Daria Emelyanenkova.
