On October 9th, Yury E. Blagov, Anastasia A. Petrova-Savchenko, and Yulia N. Aray, represented PwC Center for CSR at the annual ASPPE Conference “Evaluating Social Programs in Russia: Application Practice and Development Drivers”. They were invited by the Association of Specialists in Program and Policy Evaluation (ASPPE) to organize and conduct a session “Social Impact Assessment in the Field of Social Entrepreneurship”.
The session was devoted to the peculiarities of evaluation in social entrepreneurship — a hybrid activity aimed at creating both commercial and social values. Yury E. Blagov moderated the session, Anastasia A. Petrova-Savchenko made a presentation “Social Effects as a Business Target: Main Problems of Social Impact Assessment by Social Entrepreneurs”, and Yulia N. Aray — “Conceptual Basis for Evaluating Social Entrepreneurship”.
The panel discussion and the general debates brought together the representatives of foundations supporting social entrepreneurs — Foundation for Development of Media Projects and Social Programs Gladway, “Our Future” Foundation, Impact Hub Moscow, “Rybakov Foundation”, “Center for Promoting Innovation in Society SOL”, Foundation Presidential Grants — social entrepreneurs, and experts.
Association of Specialists in Program and Policy Evaluation brings together professionals involved in the study, development, and dissemination of knowledge in this field.
