Associate Professor, Chief Researcher of GSOM SPbU Center for PPP Studies and Academic director of Management in healthcare program Andrei Ivanov participated in the sixth Global Educators Network for Health Care Innovation Education (GENiE). The conference was held on October 18-19 at Copenhagen Business School.
Andrei E. Ivanov, together with Tatyana Zhelninova, Director of Development at St. Petersburg State Pediatric Medical University, presented a study: “The Universities’ Contribution to Efficiency, Effectiveness and Equity of Regional Health Care System”. The presentation ended by a master class on methods of teaching innovations to health care managers, which Andrei Ivanov held together with Harvard Business School professor and GENiE Chair Regina Herzlinger.
The presentation of T. Zhelninova and A. Ivanov has continued the A. Ivanov’s reports on technology of developing strategies of educational programs in the field of management and innovations in Health Care: “The Innovative Strategy of Program Development” (Alabama University, 2015), “The management of the team-projects' innovativeness” (IESE, 2016).
In GENiE conference also participated representatives of American and European universities, as well as medical business: Regina Herzlinger and Stephen Bonner (Harvard School of Business), Maureen Lewis (Georgetown University), Grant Savage (Alabama University), Joseph Restuccia (Boston University), Finn Valentine (Copenhagen Business School), Magda Rosenmöller (IESE Business School, University of Navarre), Bruce Rosengard (Johnson & Johnson) and others. Their presentations were devoted to the issues of innovative methods of teaching innovations in health care to the leaders of medical organizations.
