On November 8, 2019, the corporate program "School of Manager" was completed. 38 program participants received advanced training certificates, as well as certificates for completing the Decision Base business game.

 

 

As part of the program, professors and practitioners of the School spoke about the key skills necessary for an effective manager, including strategic decision making, digital transformation management, KPI production, a personal leader’s brand, energy management and communications.

 

Alexander Koregin, Deputy General Director for Human Resources and Social Programs at RN-Uchet LLC, a center for accounting and tax accounting services at the Rosneft group of companies of Samara, Samara, spoke about "School of Manager" at GSOM SPbU:

 

“The program provides certain knowledge that can be applied in daily work. I liked that the modules were built from simple to complex, which is very convenient. The first module was devoted to the ability to speak correctly, to present yourself and your project. The second block was devoted to the accumulation of personal energy to achieve the goals and objectives. A competently built personal brand of a leader is very important for the quality performance of work and the achievement of company results. I also want to note an interesting module related to mathematics and economic disciplines. Once again, the professors of the program proved that any action can be represented in the form of a formula. 

Thanks to the knowledge gained as at the program, I understand the applied value of economic disciplines. Neither school nor university knowledge provides the depth and practical applications that I received as part of the course. The program is perfectly balanced. At the end of each module was given a squeeze of the knowledge that a modern leader cannot do without. I liked very much that throughout the course I heard the idea that the modern educational system gives an impetus to the development of strong professional qualities. The trend of the present is that strong competencies need to be strengthened, and weak ones should be delegated. Indeed, in the VUCA world it is impossible to be a professional in all areas".
