Rustam Chikirov, group leader at Tyumen Petrolium Research Center LLC, and a participant in the GSOM SPbU corporate program “Leaders of the Future: Young Talents”:
“This is the best program that I have taken part in - in terms of organization and content. Only one issue: in the modern speed of life, all information can be obtained online and remotely. More concise information could allow us to work more independently and save time.
Many things surprised me. During the course, I compared new knowledge with with work processes and realized that I did not pay much attention to some of them. As a result of the program, I have noted that company employees, regardless of hierarchical status, have their own distinctive professional and personal characteristics. For example, if for me this or that work is comfortable, this does not mean thatthis is the case for other team members as well. I want to bring this understanding to my future work processes for competent team management.”
Daria Mikhailova, Senior Specialist, Personnel Evaluation and Development Department, Kuybyshevsky Oil Refinery JSC, participant of the GSOM SPbU “Leaders of the Future: Young Talents”
“In the 21st century, there are many distance learning programs that allow you to receive information without leaving your home, but personal interaction is a deeper and more interesting approach. I would like to express my deep gratitude to both our company and GSOM SPbU for organizing this useful full-time program.
We were given a large number of techniques and practical exercises that needed to be discussed with the lecturer, with the audience, asking questions during discussions and business games in order to apply them later in our work.
The program helped to answer the basic questions that appear in our daily work. We discussed how to make the right decisions, to be a leader and to bear responsibility for our actions, as well as how to properly build communication in a team, taking into account the peculiarities in the temperament of our subordinates.
The main message of the program — lifelong learning. We need to constantly improve our competencies in order to keep up with the times."
The corporate program “Leaders of the Future: Young Talents” was designed to increase personal effectiveness, identify and develop managerial competencies, and develop skills for solving managerial problems.
