November 22, at Volkhovskiy pereulok, 3 a seminar for GSOM SPbU teachers and postgraduate students "From start-up to global innovative company: Development of sources of competitive advantage in Russian entrepreneurial firms" took place. The research team presented the interim results of the research project of the same name with the support of the Russian Science Foundation grant (No. 19-18-00081).
The moderator of the seminar was Galina V. Shirokova, project manager, GSOM SPbU Professor, Department of Strategic and International Management. Karina A. Bogatyreva, Ph.D., GSOM SPbU Assistant Professor, Department of Strategic and International Management, presented a study on the topic “Risky business? Integrating perspectives of entrepreneurial orientation as experimentation and advantage to explain firm performance". Also, a presentation on “Embracing economic crisis in emerging market: Decision-making logic and performance outcomes of Russian SMEs” was delivered by Anastasia K. Laskovaya, Ph.D., GSOM SPbU Assistant Professor, Department of Strategic and International Management.
During the seminar, the speakers presented the factors of origin and analysis of the dynamics of the early development of Russian innovative startups created by entrepreneurial teams, identifying the relationship between the types of entrepreneurial leadership, the structure of the entrepreneurial team and the effectiveness of the new enterprise; approaches to making entrepreneurial decisions at different stages of startup development; the dynamics of the development of the business model and approaches to its formation in innovative startups.
