On December 18, 2019, a new Executive MBA program group began studies at the Graduate School of Management SPbU, which included 29 top managers of small, medium and large companies based in St. Petersburg, Moscow and other large cities of Russia as well as the CIS members. In total, about 200 applications were submitted for the program.
Leonid V. Vasilyev, Director, MBA and Executive Education Programmes, addressed to the new students with a welcoming speech: “We highly appreciated your leadership potential and motivation for learning. I hope that we will meet your expectations, you will achieve the goals that you set for yourself, and most importantly, you will get even more than you expect".
This is the 21th group studying at the GSOM SPbU Executive MBA program. The main requirements for the program participants are at least 7 years of experience in managerial positions, higher education, high leadership potential, willingness and ability to work in a team.
The program includes 13 main disciplines: economics for managers, corporate finance, human resource development management, strategic analysis and others. The program also includes two visiting modules at partner universities of the School.
As part of the program, students will participate in five professional trainings aimed at improving communication, managerial and organizational skills. During the training process, each participant will have to prepare and defend two business projects: an interim individual project based on their company case and a final group consulting project aimed at solving the strategic problems of GSOM SPbU partner companies.
