From December 7 to December 15, 2019, Galina Shirokova, professor of Strategic and International Management at GSOM SPbU, Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship, took part in the international research program of the Institute of Commerce Civilization and Commons at Fudan University in Shanghai, China. During the visit, Galina Shirokova received the title of Honorary Professor at the Penta Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
During the visit, Professor Shirokova G.V. held a scientific seminar for graduate students and teachers of Fudan University, at which she presented the interim results of the research project “From Startup to Global Innovation Company: Forming the Sources of Competitive Advantages of Russian Entrepreneurial Firms” (grant of the Russian Science Foundation, Agreement No. 19-18-00081) and delivered a lecture on the topic: “Doing Business in Russia: Policy, Environment, and Opportunities” in front of EMBA students.
Professor Shirokova G.V. held a seminar for entrepreneurs at the Shanghai Penta Innovation and Entrepreneurship Institute on the topic of Cases and Strategies of Entrepreneurship and Innovation of Russian Companies. The result of the visit Professor Shirokova received the title of Honorary Professor at the Shanghai Penta Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship.
Shanghai Penta Institute of Innovation and Entrepreneurship is located in the joint region of Yangpu government, co-built by Fudan University, Tongji University, Shanghai University of Finance and Economics and University of Shanghai for Science and Technology etc. Penta institute is a non-profit education and service organization as well as a non-traditional educational and entrepreneurship college born in modern era and free of barriers of fence.
