On January 27, a regular meeting of the Council  of the Public Administration programs was held. Participants discussed the bachelor's program in Public Administration and the master's program Master in Urban Management and Development, MUMD.Council members discussed the necessary areas for the development of the curricula and its implementation into the programs. Particular attention was paid to the need to strengthen a practice-oriented approach in the educational process.

Elena V. Menshchikova, Deputy Head of the SPbU Office of Educational Programs, made a presentation to the members of the Council. She spoke about the functions and powers of the Councils. Presentations were also made by Associate Professor Tatyana M. Sklyar, Academic Director for the Bachelor in Public Administration program, and Associate Professor Ekaterina V. Sokolova, Academic Director for Master in Urban Management and Development (MUMD) program.

As a result of the meeting, it was decided to strengthen the existing competitive advantages of educational programs in the field of of Public Administration to increase the demand for graduates in the labor market.
