Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) jointly with the bank VTB introduce into the education process advanced technologies which expand the possibilities of the transmission of theoretical knowledge and help effectively acquire practical skills in the context of distant learning. It was told at the forum «Future of managerial occupations» by Sergey Lukashin, Advisor to the Deputy chairman of the Board of VTB Bank and a member of a project office on the strategy of GSOM SPbU.
«Together with the Graduate School of Management of SPbU we are focused on the technologies that enable learning soft skills online. Usually distant learning is conducted in the form of a lecture and the subsequent testing to confirm the level of knowledge. We work on the formats when with the use of virtual and augmented reality skills are put into practice in real time. For example, for creating an interactive program on sales basics along with classic online formats we use immersive technologies such as 3D/VR simulation and 360-video», — told S. Lukashin at the session «Financial and economic factors that influence business leaders of the future».
Focus on the use of advanced technologies in the education process is one of the elements of an updated strategy of the business school.
The forum «Future of managerial occupations» was organized by the Association of Managers of Russia. As part of the event, the experts discussed the key factors that play a crucial role in a decision-making process regarding management in the new environment: bioecological, social and ethical, financial and economic, technological and digital.
