On November 30, 2020, the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) will launch the second set of the Leaders of the Future: Young Talents program for Rosneft, which will be held entirely online for the first time and will combine the best approaches in education.

 

The corporate program was developed and implemented with the participation of the NOVA School of Business and Economics of the University of Lisbon, Portugal. Its goal is to increase personal efficiency, identify and develop managerial competencies and problem-solving skills. The participants in the program are young specialists of the company who are winners of the 2019 business assessment games, having shown a high level of development of corporate and management competencies.

 

Since 2009, more than 1,300 employees and managers of the Company at various levels have been trained at GSOM SPbU. Since 2010, a corporate MBA program has been held. 120 participants of the program from the central office and the Group Companies have received diplomas.

 

Among the programs created for Rosneft:

The University of the Director General. A three-stage training system has been integrated into the students' work processes. More than 200 Directors have been trained.

 

School of Management: Developed on the basis of positive feedback from CEOs and their request for a similar program for their Deputies. 78 people have taken  part in the program.

 

Leaders of the Future is a three-level system of personnel development in the company in accordance with the position held, their level of tasks and career track. By analogy with the Leaders of Russia competition, the process of selecting employees for each group of three programs —  strategic level, operational efficiency, and young talents — is based on an internal system for assessing competencies, competitions and awards. On October 30, 2020, 24 students of the course on operational efficiency received diplomas; on November 26, 2020, 29 participants of the Leaders of the Future: Strategic Level program completed their education.
