At the end of February, students of the Executive MBA program of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) conducted an on-site module "Operations and Chain Management" in Sochi, at the Sirius Educational Center.

  

  

As part of the module, students got acquainted with modern practices of operations management as a transformation process to create value, the role of operational management in achieving strategic goals, decomposition and implementation of strategic goals. Company cases and business simulations helped to gain new knowledge. Representatives of the Hyundai and Ferrari companies shared their practical experience.

  

The course was taught by Alberto Grando, Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Bocconi University; Francesco Gallmann, Professor of Operations and Supply Chain Management at the Bocconi University; Andrei Zyatchin, Associate Professor of the Department of Operational Management at GSOM SPbU, Academic Director of MBA Programs.

  

The module was implemented jointly with GSOM academic partner Bocconi University and Sirius Education Center Sochi.
