The Career Center of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) together with the L'Oréal Group conducted an online digitalization course “Digital Upskilling” for the students of the Business School.
The course brought together relevant topics such as introduction to digital, e-commerce, user experience, CRM for beginners and others. The program consisted of 6 sessions, which took place twice a week. It was attended by 90 Bachelor and Master programs students.
At the end of the program, everyone had to solve a case. The winners — Ilona Dantsevich and Anna Skovorodkina — will do an internship at L'Oréal.
Anna Lemets, organizer from L'Oreal: “We have developed this series of webinars especially for GSOM SPbU students. The program is suitable for any profile and course: anyone who wants to understand digital media and plans to work with digital tools. And this is now necessary in any profession!"
Ilona Dantsevich, winner of the case competition, third-year Bachelor student: “Over the past year, we have been hearing a lot about the important role digitalization has begun to play in business development. L'Oréal showed us how digital tools are applied in practice to solve business problems. This is a great addition to the basic university studies. The solution of the case at the end of the course was an excellent opportunity to summarize all the information received and apply it to develop a new idea!"
