The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) has launched the GSOM all-Russian case championship Call for participation in 2021: OZON. Students will be required to solve a business problem from Ozon in marketing or analytics.
The competition is open to Bachelor and Master students of all Russian universities who are interested in analytics or marketing and who want to improve their skills. Registration is open until November 7 at 23:59.
The main prizes are a fast track for an internship at a company, a certificate for 10,000 rubles in an online store, and a brunch with top management.
The GSOM Call is a GSOM SPbU project implemented for the third time with business representatives from different industries. Students participate in its organization, which allows them to gain experience in event marketing and skills in consulting.
OZON is the most recognizable e-commerce brand in Russia (according to BrandScience) and one of the leaders in logistics. On November 24, 2020, the company conducted an IPO on the NASDAQ and Moscow Exchange. According to Bloomberg, Ozon's debut was the most successful among Russian companies since 2011. Ozon was declared the best employer among retaiersl according to the "Big Turnover-2020" award.
