On April 8, 2022, the professional retraining program "Leaders of the Future: Strategic Level" of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) for the oil company Rosneftthe was completed with the defense of the final projects.
26 employees from the central office of Rosneft, included in the strategic personnel reserve, presented works on the following topics: reducing the carbon footprint of oil and gas companies, commercialization of catalyst technologies, assessing the possibility of using green bonds, digitalization as a tool to improve the efficiency of oil and gas production, the concept of developing gas station networks.
“We are glad that business trusts GSOM SPbU to train its employees, this is a serious indicator of our competencies. The program is designed in such a way that students receive the widest possible range of applied knowledge and skills. Topics include performance management, innovation, talent management, digital transformation, leadership in times of uncertainty, and others. Already during the training, students were able to apply the acquired knowledge in the development of projects as part of the company's tasks,” said Academic Director of the program, Associate Professor Olga Verkhovskaya.
The program consists of five modules of five days each, includes online courses and preparation for the defense of group business projects. The goal is the formation and development of managerial competencies that allow realizing the potential of leadership at the highest level of the organizational hierarchy.
