Experts from the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) will speak at the 7th Saint Petersburg International Labor Forum. The largest international event in the sphere of human capital development for company executives and employees, representatives of the scientific community and government agencies, experts and researchers from various fields will be held on March 15 — 17. Olga Alkanova, Head of the Teaching Excellence Lab in Business Education of GSOM SPbU, will participate in two offline discussions at the main venue of the event — ExpoForum Convention and Exhibition Center. On March 17, 2023 she will present her paper "What Is Student Agency, How It Relates to the Ability to Learn and What Does It Have to Do With Online Learning" at the round table "Competence Model of a Graduate: Analysis of Learning Goals and Outcomes". Later this day Olga Alkanova will share information on the tools for assessment of learning outcomes and educational program development with her colleagues at the round table "Education Quality Management System at the Level of Program: Interest of Parties". One of the key events of the forum is the focused K.U.B. exhibition dedicated to transition from labor market to employment market. The event will be held in hybrid format. As part of the online program, Anna Kuchina, Director of Executive Education Programs Office at GSOM SPbU, will speak about opportunities for professional development of executives offered by the Business School. Anna Vilpan, GSOM SPbU Career Center Manager, will give a talk on how to help young specialists to prepare for their first job.
The traditional satellite event — the 6th Saint Petersburg Youth Labor Forum — will take place at the Mikhailovskaya Dacha campus on March 15. It is the largest space in Russia for the young generation to discuss current issues and challenges in the field of labor, employment, human capital, HR management, as well as to communicate with government officials, business owners, labor unions, non-profit enterprises and researchers.
