From April 20 to 27, the traditional Management Career Week was held online at the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg University (GSOM). 11 workshops, 63 individual career counseling and HR event brought together more than 300 participants.
The team, which included students, the Career Center, the School administration and technical partner VCV, was able to transfer all the main events of the career week to online format without loss of quality and content.
One of the main events of the week was the HR buffet. This career fair in the format of free communication between students and representatives of the company was held on the platform of MS Teams. The organizers created 16 channels for participating companies — VTB (PJSC), Lenta, Danone, EY, MegaFon, PwC, Unilever, MTS, GEROFARM, BIOCAD, UNIQLO, Bacardi, Coca-Cola HBC Russia, Procter & Gamble, Nornickel, Raiffeisenbank. Within two hours, students could switch from channel to channel and find out relevant information on internships from company representatives.
In addition, workshops from leading experts from Russian and foreign companies was held during the career week:
Anna Maysova, HR specialist, and Anastasia Kishkina, HR processes Automation Specialist, Baltika spoke about HR processes automation, features of the online candidate selection process, the impact of the pandemic on recruiting and how the recruiting will change in the future.
Egor Kocheshkov, Digital Project Manager Danone Russia, shared the features of work in the E-commerce industry and told the trend of responsible consumption.
Olga Miroshnikova, Head of the GEROPHARM recruiting and adaptation group, spoke about the existing conditions for building business processes and shared her experience in establishing comfortable interaction between employees.
Evgeny Yagnyatinsky, IT Director at Procter & Gamble in Eastern Europe, shared how the company works in the current situation.
Bacardi speakers explained to students how the selection for leadership programs in the FMCG sector is going.
For six days of MCW: going digital, each student and alumni got the opportunity to talk with representatives of the largest employer companies, including: VTB Bank (PJSC), Lenta, Danone, EY, MegaFon, PwC, Unilever, MTS, GEROFARM, BIOCAD, UNIQLO, Bacardi, Coca-Cola HBC Russia, Procter & Gamble, Norilsk Nickel, Raiffeisenbank, L'Oréal, Ankor, Kelly Services, Baltic. The slogan of the career week sounded like #STAYHOME LET THE JOB OFFER COME TO YOU. It reflects the mission of the event: compliance with the isolation regime without losing speed on the way to career goals.
