From 11 to 15 April in the Netherlands the championship on solving cases had been held by Rotterdam Business School. As a result of the competition the team from Graduate School of Management SPbU "Ladies first", has won first place in dealing with 24-hour case. For the honor of the School and the country fought fourth year undergraduate students of Marketing track – Lubov Solovyova and Victoria Chernyshova, Financial Management track - Sharamko Anastasia and human resources management track - Shokhova Tatiana.
RSM STAR Case Competition is an International case competition, which involves students from the best universities around the world. This year our team competed with peers from the United States, Canada, Switzerland, Singapore, Hong Kong, Indonesia, Thailand and the Netherlands. In the championship the students were asked to solve two cases: 8 and 24 hours.
Cases have been provided by two large international companies: Eastman Chemical Company, and the largest airport in the Netherlands, Schiphol, in the framework of victory for our team, 24-hour case study participants needed to propose a plan to optimize Schiphol airport staff.
