In 2024, SPbU will launch a double degree programme with Fudan University (China) as part of its strategic goal to develop international cooperation. 

The Graduate School of Management of SPbU, the School of Management of Harbin Polytechnic University and the REC Export School will jointly teach the peculiarities of transnational business between Russia and China. The corresponding cooperation agreement was signed between the universities during the state visit of Russian President Vladimir Putin to China on 16-17 May 2024.

The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) held successfully a case championship on the topic of sustainable development. The final of the ESG Lab and an expert discussion on the relevance of the sustainable development agenda took place on June 6 at the Mikhailovskaya Dacha campus. The event was attended by students and researchers, as well as and representatives of government, business and public organizations.

The Research and Education Center "Digital Technologies in Education" of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University conducted a training "VR technologies as a tool for developing storytelling skills" for 1st-year undergraduates of the programs "Corporate Finance", "Business Analytics and Big Data", "Management of Smart city." The event took place within the framework of the course “Professional Communications: Language Aspects. Storytelling."

The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) became the winner of the All-Russian competition for the best social practice among universities "Learning by Service". The "More than an idea" project took second place in the "Implementation of educational, industrial, undergraduate practice on the basis of a non-profit organization" nomination.

On Friday, June 2, at the invitation of the students and the administration of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), Deputy Head of Administration Alexei Sopin and press secretary of the administration Victoria Goncharova visited the Mikhailovskaya Dacha campus.

On May 5, 2015, the first conference titled "Public-Private Partnerships (PPP) in Transport: Models and Experience" was organized by the Research Center for PPP at the Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU). On May 26, 2023, for the ninth time, young researchers, Bachelor and Master degree students, Doctoral program students, representatives from field, consulting, and government institutions gathered within the walls of the business school.

Students from GSOM SPbU took part in a pilot of a new format for the "VTB Innovations Laboratory" case championship. The event was held online for the first time on the VTB Education platform and in an inter-university format with teams from several universities.
