Tatyana Gavrilova, Professor, Head of the Department of Information Technologies in Management, Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), provided a lecture and a workshop at the Summer School of the Russian Association of Artificial Intelligence (RAAI Summer School) organized at the Sirius Scientific-Technological University.
Summer is not a time to rest: starting from their second year, during this period students have the opportunity to test their knowledge and skills in real companies’. The Career Center of the Graduate School of Management of Saint Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) has started to find places for internships for them in the spring. At the moment, 233 students, 45% of all Business School’s students have found places for internship.
The research was carried out as part of a grant from St. Petersburg University (ID: 60419345). The team of the Center for Entrepreneurship of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) analyzed factors that have influenced small and medium firms (SMEs) survival during crises.
Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship of GSOM SPbU and Senior Lecturer of Strategic and International Management of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) Karina Bogatyreva has delivered a lecture at the Social and Humanitarian Educational Forum of Saint Petersburg University. In her speech, she tried to shatter several myths about entrepreneurship. In particular, to dispel the opinion that some people have a predisposition to business from birth, and that all businessmen are young, risk-taking seekers of fame, and motivated by money alone.

The team of the Center for Entrepreneurship of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) analyzed the psychological traits and cognitive states of individuals that can influence their willingness to get involved in entrepreneurial activities, as well as the logic of decision-making in the business management process.
