The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM) has begun cooperation with the Center of Competencies for the Development of the Urban Environment of the Leningrad Region. Students of the programs “Public Administration” and “Master in Urban Management and and Development” will do a summer internship at the Center, where they can apply their managerial competencies.
The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM), together with VKontakte and MIPT, are launching a free educational course about computer science for school teachers. Students will learn the basics of machine learning, IT project management and pupils motivation. Teachers who complete the course will receive a certificate of professional development.

Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University (GSOM) launches the GSOMConnect project. This is a telegram bot designed specifically for networking and regular one-on-one dating GSOM Family communities — alumni, students, lecturers and employees of GSOM. The project has been implemented as part of the digitalization of the extracurricular activities of the School and will help to build horizontal ties between community members.
In the context of the pandemic, many companies close internship programs, which complicates the search for summer internships and student employment. Thanks to many years of effective cooperation with corporate partners, this problem can be solved at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM). So, the company Procter & Gamble together with the GSOM Career Center implemented a campaign for the career support of GSOM students.
On May 13, 2020 Daria Klishevich (GSOM SPbU 3rd year doctoral student) has presented the results of the research as part of her doctoral thesis on the topic: “Internationalization of state-owned enterprises from emerging markets: evidence from Russia”. Scientific advisor is Andrei Yu. Panibratov, Doctor of Science (Economics), Professor, Department of Strategic and International Management.
At Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University (GSOM), students, in addition to passing exams and tests, prepare consulting business projects for companies as part of the course final assignments. This educational format helps students to plunge into the world of business and try to solve the specific tasks of the partner company.
On May 11, 2020 Snezhana Muravskaiia (GSOM SPbU 3rd year doctoral student) has presented the results of the research within the framework of her doctoral thesis on the topic: “Influence of gamification in marketing on consumer behavior”.
