The "Profile" magazine published the IX National Ranking of Russian Business Schools. The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) takes the first place.

A new ranking was made on the basis of a survey of business schools graduates who completed their studies in 2014-2016. Among them: 66.7% — top managers and business owners, 27.3% — middle managers and 6% — low-level managers and specialists.

Survey participants evaluated the Schools according to four criteria: income growth (GSOM SPbU — 4.12 out of 5), career growth (3.96), networking (4.44), personal and professional development (4.96). GSOM SPbU tops the ranking together with the Institute Of Business Studies of the Russian Presidential Academy of National Economy and Public Administration (RANEPA). Last year GSOM SPbU was in second place.

Also the results of the survey show that the majority of managers (67%) consider knowledge and skills to be the main result of their study.
