Dear Bachelor, Master and Doctoral students of GSOM SPbU!

The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) has begun the academic year under conditions that require all of us to comply with measures to prevent coronavirus infection (COVID-19).

The fall semester will be taught online for all programs and courses. An exception will be the 1st year of Bachelor programs, in which part of the classes will be held in classrooms in compliance with all required precautions. The timetable has been published on August 28.

For online lectures, the MS Office365 – Microsoft Teams platform is being used. GSOM support service will help you connect and understand the functionality of Microsoft Teams. On the service page you will find detailed instructions for working with the program.

The Downtown and the Mikhailovskaya Dacha campuses will open on September 1: the library and offices will work in a mode close to usual. All Bachelor and Master students will be able to visit them with the necessary precautions. The vending machines installed at the entrance and in the recreation areas offer medical masks. Both campuses are equipped with hand sanitizer dispensers. Information boards will tell you how to maintain social distancing, about the rules of conduct in public places and the prevention of coronavirus infection.

If we will have the opportunity to hold traditional university events under conditions allowing physical presence, including seminars and lecturers, after the beginning of October, and we will notify you in advance. We are all waiting for the moment when face-to-face communication will become possible. Unfortunately, some of students for objective reasons will not be able to come to St. Petersburg this semester. GSOM SPbU does its best to ensure that students from other cities and countries are fully involved in the life of the business school, and all events will be available online.
