Management science, data and knowledge are the key assets of 21st century companies. In modern digital economy advances in technologies transform the ways people work, interact, think, and coordinate their activities. Operations management (OM) includes all the main processes of managing production activities: from the production of goods and services to their delivery to the end consumer. Business informatics (BI) is an interdisciplinary subject combining economics of digitization, information technology, and some concepts of computer science. So, the interplay of digital technologies with organizations as socio-economic systems is of special interest. Operations management and Business informatics deals with effective operations based on information technology and its application. It includes data governance, information and knowledge management, ERP systems, decision making, IT-project management, intelligent applications, and many other fields.
The track welcomes contribution from any relevant arena: academia, business, or non-profit organizations.
