Businesses and universities need to work together to develop a balanced formula for responsible leadership that aligns with sustainable development goals while maintaining the economic incentives for businesses to exist. This was stated by Olga Dergunova, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank, Director of the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) in her speech at the Digital CFO conference, organized by ACCA, an international association of professionals in the field of finance and accounting.

After graduation, many GSOM SPbU students are planning a career in the field of consulting, and preferably with the “big three” — the largest international companies: BCG, McKinsey, and Bain. On September 2, 2021, Yury Blagov, Director of the PwC Center for CSR at GSOM SPbU took part in the VI St. Petersburg Conference "Corporate Volunteering". The conference, which was held in a hybrid format, was attended by over 200 representatives of domestic and international companies, NGOs and social enterprises located in the North-West Federal District, heads of relevant government institutions, journalists, experts in the field of CSR and sustainable development.
