On October 4-7 the 5th international research GSOM Emerging Markets Conference 2018 (GSOM EMC 2018) was held at “Mikhailovskaya Dacha” campus.

On September 28th, the ceremony of handing the diplomas for the graduates of the Presidential program in management training “Management in Health Care” for the organization of the national economy of the Russian Federation was held at the Duma hall of the Tauride Palace.
On September 14th, co-founder and the Chief Product Officer in Mechanica AI Elena Samuylova gave a lecture about artificial intelligence (AI) in business. Elena told students about the differences between machine learning and AI, new market of solutions based on machine learning and its benefits for business.
On August 8-10, 2018, Andrew E. Ivanov (Associate Professor, Department of Public Administration, Chief Researcher of GSOM SPbU Center for PPP Studies) took part in the IPPC8 international conference in Tanzania.
On September 20, 2018 GSOM SPbU hosted guest research seminar led by Niсk Zubanov, PhD. (University of Konstanz, Germany). The topic of the seminar was interested to many students, authors and researchers: "Market competition and the effectiveness of incentive payments".
On September 22nd, Graduate School of Management (GSOM SPbU) community met at “Mikhailovskaya Dacha” campus. Businessmen, representatives of GSOM SPbU partner companies, alumni, students and faculty gathered together to discuss the future of business education.
From September 2nd to 7th at Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) CEMS Block Seminar was organized.
On September 11-13 the IV Eastern Economic Forum was held at the Far Eastern Federal University. This year, the topic of the forum was formulated as follows: "The Far East: expanding the boundaries of opportunities".
