A group of researchers from the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) have analyzed the practices of maintaining the well-being of the personnel of companies operating in the Russian market.

Director of the Center for Entrepreneurship of GSOM SPbU and Senior Lecturer of Strategic and International Management of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) Karina Bogatyreva has delivered a lecture at the Social and Humanitarian Educational Forum of Saint Petersburg University. In her speech, she tried to shatter several myths about entrepreneurship. In particular, to dispel the opinion that some people have a predisposition to business from birth, and that all businessmen are young, risk-taking seekers of fame, and motivated by money alone.

The research was carried out as part of a grant from St. Petersburg University (ID: 45285590). The team of the Center for Entrepreneurship of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) analyzed the psychological traits and cognitive states of individuals that can influence their willingness to get involved in entrepreneurial activities, as well as the logic of decision-making in the business management process.

St. Petersburg University, in partnership with VTB Bank, is opening the Research and Educational Center for Digital Technologies. It will create innovative educational products using virtual reality, artificial intelligence, big data and other modern technologies.

On April 29, 2021, the Talent Up! mentoring program ended at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU)! 2020/2021: alumni shared with students their experience of building a career, developing skills and competencies.

GSOM Ambassadors is a new project of the GSOM Family community, the goal of which is to unite representatives of the Business School into an international community.

On April 26, 2021, GSOM doctoral students participate in Doctoral Colloquium organized jointly with the University of Göttingen (Germany). The seminar finishes the course "Writing for top management journals", organized for 2nd and 3rd doctoral students in order to increase their publication activity. Doctoral students from GSOM and University of Goettingen present their papers to be published in high-ranked academic journals and discuss their research progress with well-known professors with outstanding publication scores. 

The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) with the support of ANO ROSGONKI and VTB Group held the second season of the All-Russian GSOM Call 2021 - FORMULA 1 VTB RUSSIAN GRAND PRIX case championship. The competition brought together 109 teams, 330 students of various fields of study from 23 cities of Russia and 57 universities.
