The Strategy Commission under the Advisory Board of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) summed up the results of the Business School's work in the first quarter of 2021. On April 21, representatives of 20 trustee companies, SPbU and GSOM SPbU employees held the traditional online meeting to discuss the most current projects and issues.
The results of the Global Entrepreneurship Monitor (GEM) for 2020 were presented at a meeting of the Commission of the State Council of the Russian Federation in the area of "Small and Medium Business" in Kaliningrad. Students of St. Petersburg University worked on this and other projects using 5G technology in the <5G_DREAM_LAB> laboratory, created at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) with the support of MegaFon. Among the developments there are a mobile application for monitoring the body's water balance and assimilation of calories, a program for analyzing the user's health status and receiving recommendations for taking vitamins and pills, technology for recognizing, fixing and monitoring a person's body temperature for the access system, a solution for tracking the location of an employee during a work day.
"The relationship between digitalization practice and human resource management strategies in Russian companies": Elena Zavyalova, Head of the Department of Organizational Behavior and Human Resource Management, Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), presented a report on the results of a large-scale research at the 5th St. Petersburg International Labor Forum.
The results of the research of the level of digitalization of HR in Russian companies were presented at the V International Labor Forum by Dmitry Sokolov, Assistant Professor of the Department of Organized Behavior and Personnel Management at GSOM SPbU, and PhD student Anastasia Springer.
