The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) together with SIBUR will conduct an online hackathon for students of SPbU on the development of logistics solutions for business. The best students will receive an invitation for an online internship at SIBUR.

Anastasia M. Seliverstova, a second-year student of the MIM program at the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg University (GSOM), became the winner of the All-Russian Innosocium competition for social projects.

The Career Center of the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg University (GSOM) has launched the series of webinars to help students find work or internships. Students were told how to write a resume and a cover letter, go through an interview and maintain an emotional balance.

Margarita A. Gladkova, Academic Director of the Master’s Program in Business Analytics and Big Data, has published  an article on the Rusbase Young website, where she has discussed what opportunities the university offers for employment in the IT industry, how to prepare to internships, how to succeed in the selection process and receive an invitation for an internship, and after that — a job offer.

In the second half of May, the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM) launched the GSOM Connect project. It is a telegram bot designed specifically for communication and regular one-on-one meeting of the GSOM Family community - alumni, students, faculty and employees of GSOM. For three weeks, with the help of a chat bot, almost 150 people from different cities of Russia, from Paris, London, Hamburg, Berlin, Rotterdam, Tallinn and Minsk discussed their studies at GSOM, career development, work in startups and corporations. In total, 250 people used the chat bot.

Tatyana Gavrilova, Professor, Head of the Department of Information Technology in Management at the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg University (GSOM), has takls 7th place in the Russian Federation for the number of citations in the field of “Informatics” and “Cybernetics” according to the data of the electronic scientific library, eLibrary, on 4 June 2020.

MTS, partner of the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg University (GSOM),  has provided access to the company's corporate university courses for GSOM Bachelor program students. More than 20 soft skills development courses are available for business school students until August 1, 2020.

Ekaterina V. Sokolova, Academic Director of the master's program “the Management and Development of Urban Agglomerations” at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University, is talking about the city as a business project on the Sobaka.ru portal.

On May 28, 2020, the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM) hosted the first online defense of a  thesis by Kazimir P. Yablonsky on the topic “Evaluation of the effectiveness of medical organizations”, which was submitted for the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences. After his successful defense, Mr. Yablonsky was awarded the degree of Candidate of Economic Sciences.
