Alexandra K. Bordunos, a third-year Doctoral student at the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU), has published research on how effective strategies for supporting employees with children and building relationships in the company team can affect their career development after parental leave. Her research supervisor was Sofia Kosheleva, Professor of the Department of Organizational Behavior and Personnel Management. 

The Forbes Education project has issued an interview with Olga K. Dergunova, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank, Director of the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU). 

The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU), together with SIBUR, conducted the first inter-university online hackathon. During the week, students from six Russian universities in multidisciplinary teams developed logistics solutions for business. The best students participating in the hackathon will receive an invitation for an online internship at SIBUR. 

Marina O. Latukha, professor of Organizational Behavior and Personnel Management was appointed Academic Director of Doctoral program at  Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU).

Andrei Panibratov, professor at the Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), and Peter Gammeltoft, professor at the Copenhagen Business School, were selected as Guest Editors of a Special Issue of the International Business Review journal. The issue will focus on еmerging market multinationals and the politics of internationalization.

Students of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) traditionally take the first positions in case competitions and various other competitions. We invite everyone to take part in the Rusbase Young Awards competition for young entrepreneurs, which is hosted by Rusbase Media. Until August 18, students and beginning entrepreneurs up to the age of 25 years, who already have their own business or commercial project, can compete for the title of the best project. Winners will receive cash prizes and consultations with business representatives. 

Joan Freixanet, Associate Professor of the Marketing Department at the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), together with Professor at the University of Girona, Gemma Renart, found out how early internationalization affects the development of small and medium-sized businesses in their research A capabilities perspective on the joint effects of internationalization time, speed, geographic scope and managers’ competencies on SME survival. The results of their study have been published in the Journal of World Business. 

On June 27, 2020, at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University, the third module of the further education program Healthcare Management, implemented as part of the Academic Program for National Economy Organizations of the Russian Federation (the Presidential Program), has been completed.
