On June 30 Students of the <5G_Dream_Lab> laboratory, a joint project of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) and MegaFon, presented the results of their work for the year as part of the final defense of the projects. Among the decisions submitted to the jury were development using virtual and augmented reality technologies to improve the urban environment, the organization of online events, and on conducting interviews.  

The Executive MBA program of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM) has for the first time been listed among the top 100 international ranking of the leading QS Executive MBA Rankings programs, having moved up 4 positions compared to last year.

The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) as part of its cooperation with VTB Bank, held webinars for bank managers. On June 26, 2020, GSOM Online Hackathon launched a joint project of the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) and SIBUR. More than 35 students applied for a hackathon and formed 12 teams.

On June 26, 2020 Yury Ev. Blagov, Director of the PwC Center for Corporate Social Responsibility, Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) and Yulya N. Arai, Project Coordinator for Social Entrepreneurship at the PwC Center for Corporate Social Responsibility, GSOM SPbU spoke at the plenary session “The Role of Social Business in the Implementation of National Projects” of the Interregional Meeting of Social Entrepreneurs of the North-West of Russia dedicated to the International Day of Social Business. The event was organized by the Committee on the Development of Small, Medium-Sized Business and the Consumer Market of the Leningrad Region, the Entrepreneurship Support Fund of the Leningrad Region, and the Center for Social Innovation of the Leningrad Region. 

The second online meeting of MBA programs alumni in the format of a club of practitioners was held at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU). This time, representatives of companies associated with financial markets discussed the prospects and risks of financial markets, the main trends in a pandemic.

Olga K. Dergunova, Deputy President and Chairman of the Management Board of VTB Bank, Director of the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU), in the segment on the VC.ru portal talked about working in Teams, launching a chatbot and online teamwork rituals. 

Students at the Graduate School of Management at St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbSU) are launching the STARTUP HUB accelerator to work with experts to support startups in creating products and launching them on the market.

Researchers at the Expert Analytical Center annually evaluate the level of advancement of Russia in the global business education market. Since 2010, the number of international students in the world has more than doubled, exceeding 5.3 million people. The publication dealt with how the pandemic affected the level of internationalization of universities. The Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg State University (GSOM SPbU) has answered a number of questions from the authors of the study in preparing the material.

On June 17, 2020 Yury Ev.
