On June 5, 2019, a group of 20 GSOM SPbU students and professors of MBA and Executive MBA programs visited the Linxdatacenter Data Processing Center in St. Petersburg. The visit was timed to the course “Managing the Digital Transformation of the Company”. It was made in order to get the students —the heads of the organizations, acquainted with the business, which provides the infrastructure of critical data, information systems and online services
On June 6, during the Advisory Board meeting it was announced that Deputy President and Chairman of VTB Bank Olga Dergunova was appointed as GSOM SPbU Director general. She replaced on this position President and Chairman of the Bank Andrey Kostin who led the School since 2012.
On June 5, MegaFon and St. Petersburg University signed an agreement on strategic cooperation and announced the creation of a 5G digital laboratory at “Mikhailovskaya Dacha” campus. It will be equipped with “fifth generation” test zone
On June 4, GSOM SPbU researchers presented the full version of the national report “GEM Russia 2018-2019”. According to the experts, in 2018, the assessment of the availability of business opportunities in the regions where respondents live was increased by 5% and the assessment of the ease of starting a new business increased by 3%. On May 24, GSOM SPbU 3rd year doctoral student Natalia Nikolchenko has presented the results of her research within the framework of her doctoral thesis on the topic: “Improvement of supply chain performance through collaboration and coordination”.
On May 25, The XXII Peter Drucker Award Ceremony was held in GSOM SPbU campus “Mikhailovskaya Dacha”.
