Maria Karacheva is a fourth-year student of the Management program at GSOM SPbU. She spent an exchange semester at the Católica Lisbon School of Business & Economics. Maria told us why Lisbon is especially good for start-ups, and for slow life and study.
Igor Eydya, a second-year student of the GSOM SPbU Master in Management (MiM) CEMS program, spent six months in France. Ekaterina Mitskevich studied at the Graduate School of Management SPbU, first in the Bachelor program, then entered the Master program, Master in Management — MiM. After graduating from Business School in 2018, the newest alumna received a job offer in the Compensation and benefits department of the Baltika Company, part of the Carlsberg Group.
Pavel Vinogradov graduated from St. Petersburg University with a Bachelor degree in International Relations in 2021 and then decided to change his education path by continuing his studies under the Management program. In the summer, he took final exams and was preparing to enter the Master in Management (MiM) program. In an interview, Pavel spoke about what was the most difficult and interesting during the preparation for admission and studying at the Master program at GSOM SPbU.
Ekaterina Nazarenko enrolled in the Graduate School of Management St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), Management Bachelor program, in 2015. After graduation, she continued her studies in the Master in Management program — MiM, then in the Doctoral one. All this time, Ekaterina has been developing in marketing: she participated in a consulting project with P&G, interned at Gazprom, conducted research, and organized events. Tatiana Romanyuk, the founder of the EMS clinic network, graduated from the Executive MBA program of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) in 2011. During this time, the business has grown from a relatively small medical center to two large high-tech multidisciplinary institutions: the grand opening of the second clinic took place relatively recently, in October 2021. There are 15 medical departments for adults and children and 54 medical specializations in the EMS network. Nikita Kostrov, a second-year student of the Master in Corporate Finance program (MCF) at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) tells about the professional path from physical education to management, the main impressions from studying at the Business school and the Belgian KU Leuven, where he is currently on an exchange.
Elena Topolskaya isa graduate of the GSOM SPbU Bachelor Program in Financial Management in 2012 and the GSOM SPbU CEMS MiM program in 2014). In 2019, Elena received an MBA from the Wharton School of Business at the University of Pennsylvania and now holds the project manager position at the BCG office in Austin, Texas. In a large team of specialists who worked on creating hybrid classrooms at the Mikhailovskaya Dacha campus, one of the leading roles was played by experts in the methodology of design thinking, alumni of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU).
