The “School of social entrepreneurship” series of research & practice seminars was held at GSOM SPbU from April 29 to May 2, 2018. The event was attended by 42 bachelor and master students of management, economics, sociology and journalism from SPbU, Siberian Federal University and Ural Federal University.

GSOM SPbU has recently added a new international academic partner by signing a framework agreement  with University of Liège (ULiège).

September 11, 2017, the international business newspaper Financial Times published the annual ranking of master's degree programs in the field of management - FT Global Masters in Management 2017. The Master of Management (MiM, Graduate School of Management SPbU) program is on the 23rd place in the list of the 95 best similar programs in the world, having risen by 16 points this year. GSOM SPbU shares this position with Stockholm School of Economics, which is its strategic partner since the time of foundation of St. Petersburg State University business school
