In search for self-identity, the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) has formulated its core values. They are aligned with the mission, vision and strategy of the Business School: continuous development, customer focus, openness and multiculturalism, a team of like-minded people, responsible leadership, professionalism. Maria Afonina, Advisor to the Director of GSOM SPbU in HR, spoke about the importance of values for the development of the university, and their implementation in the everyday activities of teachers, staff and students.
The Strategy Commission of GSOM SPbU summed up the first results of the development of the digital educational environment (DEE) at the Business School.
Anastasia Laskovaya, Associate Professor of the Department of Strategic and International Management, GSOM SPbU, researcher at the Center for Entrepreneurship and tracker of technology startups, delivered a lecture during the project and educational intensive Archipelago 2121.
VTBTech 2.0: is a cooperation between VTB Bank and leading universities in the country, within which business will publish cases, problems and business requests; and students and university professors will find interesting tasks for themselves and work them out by joining teams.
Alexander Andrianov, a practicing lecturer of the Department of Finance and Accounting of GSOM SPbU, Co-Head of the Working Group on Updating the Master in Corporate Finance Program (MCF), took part in the ACCA global conference for universities Partnerships for an Inclusive Future.
Tatyana Gavrilova, Professor, Head of the Department of Information Technologies in Management, Graduate School of Management, St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU), provided a lecture and a workshop at the Summer School of the Russian Association of Artificial Intelligence (RAAI Summer School) organized at the Sirius Scientific-Technological University.
Summer is not a time to rest: starting from their second year, during this period students have the opportunity to test their knowledge and skills in real companies’. The Career Center of the Graduate School of Management of Saint Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) has started to find places for internships for them in the spring. At the moment, 233 students, 45% of all Business School’s students have found places for internship.
Anna Maeva, Advisor at VTB Bank, member of the Project Office of the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) took part in a seminar for heads of educational organizations implementing a project for the pre-university training of students in Rosneft classes.
The architecture of the digital environment is no less important today than spatial or landscape solutions in the material world. This is one of the main principles of building a modern university campus, said Olga Dergunova, Deputy President and Chairman of VTB Bank Management Board, GSOM SPbU Director, said while speaking at the International Congress Moscow Urban Forum.
