Arina Perekatova, a second-year student of the Master in Urban Management and Development (MUMD) program at the Graduate School of Management of St. Petersburg University (GSOM SPbU) has won the competition of the Committee on Science and Higher School of the Government of St. Petersburg and has received a grant. On October 1, 2021, Yury Blagov, Director of the PwC Center for CSR at GSOM SPbU, took part in the First International Eco-Summit "Siberian Perspective", organized by Norilsk Nickel with the support of the National Council for Corporate Volunteering, the Russian Managers Association and the “Protected Areas Embassy” charitable foundation. The key topics of the summit, which took place in the Krasnoyarsk Nature Reserve "Bobrovy Log", were the preservation of biodiversity and the development of corporate volunteering of an ecological orientation.
Natural science knowledge and critical approach promise to become the essential competencies of managers responsible for the Environmental, Social, and Governance (ESG) area in companies.
