The St. Petersburg International Labor Forum hosted a plenary session "Human Capital and Labor of the Future", on the eve of which were Valentina Matvienko, Grigoriy Poltavchenko, Olga Golodets. Future work issues were discussed by the Executive Secretary of the World Association of Public Employment Services, the Head of the Federal Service for Labor and Employment, and the Head of School, GSOM SPbU Konstantin Krotov and others.
The St. Petersburg international forum of labor was held On March 1-2, co-organized by SPbU. The central event of the forum was the plenary session "Human Capital and Labor of the Future" with G.S. Poltavchenko, V.I. Matvienko, O. Yu. Golodets.
February 27, 2018 in GSOM SPbU a public-talk with the participation of Olga Sviblova, the founder and director of the Multimedia Art Museum, Moscow (MAMM) and Alexey Malinovskiy, Head of Mastercard in Russia, Kazakhstan, Belarus and Armenia was held. The meeting was moderated by Alexander Arkhipov, graduate of GSOM SPbU'09, Director of Corporate Philanthropy and Internal Communications, JTI Russia.
From February 19 to 25, 2018 students of GSOM SPbU took part in a study tour for participants of the Russian-British Economic Forum, a project of the British Embassy and the organization Ruspromo. The aim of the forum was to improve trade, economic, investment, cultural, and most importantly - interpersonal relations between Russia and the United Kingdom.
On February 22, 2018 Research seminar (a series of guest lectures) by Dr. Jan Brinckmann, Professor of Business and Strategy at the ESADE School of Business (Spain) and Dr. Gerhard Schneider, Reader in International Management at Loughborough University London, was held at GSOM SPbU.
February 27, 2018, guest lecture by Roman Loginov was held for CEMS students within the “Entrepreneurship” course. The lecture was devoted to understanding who is an entrepreneur and why become an entrepreneur.
IGI Global published the new textbook of Sergey A. Yablonsky, Associate Professor, Information Technologies in Management Department, “Multi-Sided Platforms (MSPs) and Sharing Strategies in the Digital Economy: Emerging Research and Opportunities”.
On February 15, 2018, research seminar led by Lyubov A. Ermolaeva (graduate of GSOM SPbU Doctoral Program) was held at GSOM SPbU. L.A. Ermolaeva has presented the results of her thesis on the topic: "Determinants of International Mergers and Acquisitions Strategies' Implementation: the Process Model of Analysis of Russian Multinational Companies".
On February 15-17, 2018 the final module of the educational project Converge, developed by IPERF, the International Institute for Research Performance and Innovation Management e.V. (Germany), jointly with the Graduate School of Management took place. The project was initiated by the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs (RUSNANO Group).
Clarivate Analytics (Web of Science) invites authors and researchers to participate in a series of online seminars on scientific publications’ issues. Seminars will be held on March 23-30, 2018 (Moscow time, in Russian).
