In September 2017 GSOM SPbU hosted international module “Doing Business in Russia” for students and graduates of SAIF "Leading the Future CEO Program" of Shanghai Advanced Institute of Finance. More than 80 students and graduates of the program – CEOs, chairmen and senior executives of the leading Chinese companies in financial sector, real estate, biomedicine, energy, media, culture and arts, visited GSOM SPbU

The International conference hosted speakers and guests from 22 countries. More than 150 papers were presented at 17 tracks, 7 associate events took place, including SPIBA logistics breakfast, Social Entrepreneurship Day, case-study and healthcare round tables and a practical seminar on scientific publications. This year the conference "Emerging Markets" for the first time fully confirmed its international status - all sections were held in English

October 7, 2017, the leader of the Russian oil industry and one of the world's largest public oil and gas companies, the company PJSC "NK Rosneft" held the traditional day of the company at GSOM SPbU for the tenth time

On September 28-30, the first module of the educational project Converge, developed by Graduate School of Management jointly with IPERF, the International Institute for Research Performance and Innovation Management e.V (Germany), took place. The project was initiated by the Fund for Infrastructure and Educational Programs (RUSNANO Group)

On Friday, 22th of September, International Summer University in cooperation with GSOM and Vienna University «Challenges in Leadership and Strategy: Managing People in Global Organizations» was successfully finished. 

On September 16, GSOM SPbU hosted the secong global meeting of the GSOM SPbU community делового - GSOM Family Day 2017. Among the key speakers there are the Deputy President and Chairman of the Board of VTB Bank Olga Dergunova, the General Director of the Lenfilm Studios Eduard Pichugin, the Artistic Director of the Bolshoi Drama Theater n.a. G. Tovstonogov Andrey Moguchy, the Director of Public Relations of the North-Western Branch of PJSC "MegaFon" Kermen Mandjieva and others.

On the eve of its 25th anniversary, the Graduate School of Management SPbU received confirmation of the success of its master's program "Management" once again. The program became one of the top 25 best programs in the world.
